The Manoir St. Pierre Inc. is a 60-Suite Senior’s Independent Living Facility, and are looking to hire an individual to fill the Kitchen Coordinator position.


About the role:

  • Full time, term of 6 months
  • Monday to Friday.
  • 25 to 30 hours a week
  • Wages will reflect the applicant’s qualifications.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Willing to obtain a Safe Food Handling Certificate
  • Experience cooking for 10+ people.
  • Able to communicate in both official languages an asset.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Plans and provides weekly menus to all residents
  • Orders food / ingredients
  • Prepares/serves morning coffee and lunch Monday to Friday
  • Prepares frozen meals for sale
  • Daily/weekly cleaning of kitchen as per schedule
  • Provides training, mentorship and guidance to volunteers and students who can assist with a variety of kitchen duties
  • Oversee the creation and execution of their daily menu for an average of 15-20 people.
