The Niverville Heritage Centre is a community focused campus providing seniors housing and other services to serve them and the Community at large. We are seeking a skilled and motivated server to join our team. The position is for evenings and weekends. You will be responsible for providing efficient, courteous, and professional service to all guests. You will serve as the face of the restaurant, ensuring that each guest’s experience exceeds expectations from the moment they are seated until they depart. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for operations of the Hespeler’s Cookhouse & Tavern which include scheduling, inventory, maintain the team of servers, bartenders and all front of house staff.
- Support the Restaurant & Events Manager in planning, ordering, advertising including social media.
- Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with all team members and customers.
- Assist in handling customer complaints and concerns.
- Work collaboratively with Food Services team which includes the Restaurant and Events Manager, Kitchen Manager and Food Services Manager to meet and exceed client expectations.
- Managing operational and administrative tasks to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Provides creative ideas to generate business including research and participates in strategic planning.
- Provides leadership, recruits, and mentors team members.
- Actively recruit new business for HCT.
- Will be available to work various shifts: days, evenings, and weekends.
What you’ll need:
- A degree or certificate in a relevant field such as hospitality, food service industry.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to coordinate with different vendors and staff.
- Combination of relevant work experience and education will be considered.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and good time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
