Smitty’s is one of Canada’s largest all-day family restaurant chains, operating from
coast to coast. Almost all our restaurants are fully licensed, and a majority have
separate lounges to accommodate teams, sports fans, and the happy hour crowd.
Our locations are always looking for experienced dishwashers and talented individuals.
Ideal Candidate:
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Effective time management skills
- Willing to contribute to a team environment
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Operate the dishwashing machine
- Follow proper dishwashing procedures
- Put dishes away
- Ensure continual maintenance of the dishwashing machine
- Ensure proper garbage disposal
- Ensure proper handling of dishes to avoid breakage and soiling
- Communicate with other staff when assistance is required
- Assist with cleaning up breakage and spillage, and disposing of materials safely (ie: broken glasses)
